Sarasota Green Connection grows the local green economy by identifying and promoting SGC Approved Businesses online, in the media and at monthly Green World Cafés. Sarasota Green Connection mainstreams green products and services to stimulate healthy, resource-protective choices. SGC Approved Businesses must meet SGC’s criteria of providing green, environmentally preferable products and/or services. This criteria has been modeled after Co-op America’s guidelines for the Co-op America Business Network (CABN).
