SGM has received the Green Spec listing by Building Green and is the 23rd listed Green Building Retail Store in the country, Sarasota Green Marketplace “Your Green Home and Green Building Center” is located at 2864 Ringling Blvd., in Gold Tree Plaza. Sarasota Green Marketplace, 100% woman owned, is committed to bringing you environmentally safe and people friendly products to enhance your home and our planet. Sarasota Green Marketplace is a retail store that offers products that help you go “green” one step at a time, from a light bulb to a whole house or guest house addition. SGM also sell artistic wooden bowls from fallen trees, educational materials, safe garden products, healthy cleaning products, “aging in place” design solutions, solar energy products, air purifiers, porous paving, bike racks, and healthy flooring including Eco Timber Forest Stewardship Council Certified hardwoods and bamboo, cork, wool carpet, Milliken carpet tiles, engineered hardwood, Eco-Terr terrazzo and Marmoleum sheet, tile and click flooring.
Sarasota Green Marketplace’s dedicated staff is knowledgeable and features New College and Ringling College of Art graduates and student intern environmental experts.
